How do we determine whether our boyfriend or girlfriend is the "right" person?
Is there a way to determine, or do u "just know"?
If you are already married, how did u know that the time was right and the perosn was right?
I have been thinking about this for a while now...we have boyfriends and girlfriends, when do we know when the time is right to settle down?
For me, it's not in the books right now. That is a chapter that I have not yet had the priviledge to even have a peep at. My love life has seen nothing but black tunnels. I'm waiting for that white light to appear sometime in the future, or at least I hope I will.
My view on being 24, I'm young, full of life, hopes and dreams. And especially being in Japan, there has been so many things that I have experienced that I didn't think it was even possible. Living on my own in a foreign country where I don't speak the language. I guess that's a big achievement.
On Monday when I held my adult conversation class, the topic was on Future Plans, Hopes and Dreams. There were 4 students and I. The average age for that group would be around 50 or so (mum and dad's age).
One of the activity was to interview a partner...the four questions were:
1. What do you wish to achieve this year?
2. What do you want to accomplish next year?
3. Where do you see yourself in the next five years.
4. What are your hopes for the future.
Can you answer those questions?
Being a foreigner and being so young, it was easy for me to at least answer the first two questions. I really can't see myself in the next 5 years. Where will I be? What will I be doing? It's all a great mystery.
Life is a mystery. But, you just have to keep at it everyday and stay positive. I believe everything happens for a reason, and the people we meet affect us, whether in a big way, or a small way.
My friend said I have become more philisophical. Guess that's a complement.
