Going home in a week's time...time is flying so fast, I can't wait. But before that there's so much to do here. Summer is such a great time to hang out with friends and just drink, dance and chat the night away. Plus in Japan there are so many Summer Festivals to go to.
My nursery school will be having their summer festival on Saturday, the littlies were practising their march outside the office today. Their little faces so genki and eager, and the kids that are carrying the float around were so proud of themselves. They will also be dancing and having a juice drinking competition. Since Japanese fireworks are so cheap, they will be finishing off the night with fireworks, I can't wait to see this festival. I want to wear a yukata but I don't think I'll have the chance to buy one and wear it, might see what my host family can lend me...Might ask a friend to go with me (^_=)
On Sunday, the dance team will be participating in a big performance in Amakusa, somewhere down North near the beach. This is apparently a really big event, we've been practising so hard. We're going to have so much fun. We're having a pre-celebration BBQ at one of the lady's house...more drinking and eating. Fun Fun Fun!!!
