The weather in Japan is very strange. It has been raining non-stop for about a week now, and it's not even the raining season...*sigh* How can a country possibly get so much rain? Give some to Australia I say! It's just a pain in the bottom when you want to go out for walks or do some shopping, but the length of your pants are just that little too long, and it drags on the floor. Thus, getting it wet and muddy, not a very good look. Well, hopefully it'll clear up this weekend.
Woohoo, weekend already! Time flies when you're having fun! Yep, that's right, I've found lots of ways to keep myself occupied now. One of them is Taichi.
Taichi is really good, I went lastnight and the old obachans(grandmas) are so nice. They were really inviting and really friendly. Since it was my first time, they kept on pushing me forward so I can get a better view of the teacher at the front. They even gave me a pair of gloves to wear because it was so cold in the hall. I think Taichi works because I'm sore...hahaha (^_^)
Thanks to everyone who's given me advices and encouragements about what to do for next year. I really appreciate all of your comments and suggestions. I luv ya ^_= Can't believe it's the end of January already...
Well, have a great weekend all. I'm off to Fukuoka this weekend, going to Happy Cock (ha, club's name..can u imagine..) then doing some shopping before heading home for another week of exciting times at my schools..woohoo. Yes, am feeling much happier. XxOo

To Stay or Not to Stay...That's the Question???
The time has come to decide whether or not we want to re-contract for another year with our respecitve towns and schools. Right now I'm so torn between whether I want to go home or stay here for another year. It's just so hard to decide.
After seeing mum and sis in Taiwan I really wanted to go home. But, now back into my little inaka I have settled back into the lifestyle and work here. What to do? What to do?
My Japanese friends have all asked me to stay another year, they have been a huge support over these past 6 months and the relationship I've formed with them gives me a great strength to stay. But, on the other hand, I miss my friends back home. I miss hanging out with them and having dinners and doing the girly things.
I think there are more ups than downs to staying here...*sigh* I don't know...I need help!
Well, if you think you can help me, or just to give me some advice or support I'd really appreciate it.
10th of Feb is D-DAY!

Catching Up
Hey all,
First of all, sorry sorry sorry! I'm such a slacker..hehee..started this and then not updating! My bad.
Well, hope you all had a great new year. Mine was spent in front of the TV. Reason being, Taipei was miserable that night. It was cold and rainy, and I was alone. Yes, Mark came back to Japan before the New Year so I was home with mum and my aunties. It was nice though, very relaxing and very comforting, knowing that I didn't have to battle the crowd, the wind and the rain!
My holiday to Taiwan was really good. Caught up with the family, ate LOTS and LOTS of GOOD FOOD. Caught up with the lastest in Movies, music and more. I had a great time seening my family. But, I didn't get to see my little nephew :( Him and his family went to New York the day I arrived, and they came back to Taiwan the day I left for home...Oh well, next time! Gives me a chance to go back sometime.
My latest travel in Japan has taken me to Himeji, Hiroshima and Miyajima. I went on a road trip with Briony. It was my first ever road trip, so I was very excited. We drove from Fukuoka to Himeji, which means we went from Kyushu (my Island) to Honshu (the main island). In Himeji, we saw the Himeji Castle. It was very beautiful, very grand and very old. Stayed over night and then we headed to Hiroshima.
We got to Hiroshima about dinner time, so we had to try out their famous Okonomiyaki (Japanese Pancake). It was divine! Bri and I walked around and stopped over for a cup of Caramel Macchiato before we headed back to our hotel for a goodnight's rest. The following morning we went to the Atomic Bomb museum. It was a very sombre experience just like the one in Nagasaki, but a great learning experience.
Our last leg of the trip was to Miyajima. BUT, the most exciting thing happened as we were leaving Hiroshima. It started SNOWING!!! Yep, that's right, it was snowing as we headed out of town...2 OZ girls, driving as the snow fell upon us, it was very romantic, but very scary as well. (We didn't have snow chains ;p) As we drove to Miyajima the snow started to fall even heavier, but then it subsided as we approached our destination.
There were so many people and deers in Miyajima, it was unbelievable. The floating Torii is in Miyajima, so we took lots of photos of that and the huge shrine (still being repaired after the big typhoon at the end of Septembe last year). All in all we had a great girlie road trip.
That's been the latest in the travelling department, am looking into going to Osaka (Minabe more like it) to visit Mark in March, so stay tuned to my next adventure.
